SGI(Sophitorium Group of Institutions) was established in the year 2007 under the aegis of Heritage Charitable Trust (HCT). The group has visionaries, aiming to pioneer into the sector of IT services, Management and Social wings of studies. Under the pioneer ship of Dr. Himansu Mohan Padhy and the stewardship of Dr Pranati Mishra, the institution has grown leaps and bounds and has successfully carved a niche for itself so much that today it is a cherished destination for students across the country. The Institution is located with a sprawling campus in a lush green atmosphere, away from the bustle of the crowded city life. An Eminent Educationist, visionary, mentor, with a Vision of Institutional Building and Academic Excellence started Sophitorium, to provide high quality education to the poorest of the poor at affordable cost. His rise from humble teacher to Chairman to Sophitorium Group of Institutions is really inspirational. Dr. Padhy started his career as Asst. Professor before coming in to the field of educational entrepreneurship in late 20’s. He has been in the field of education for the last 25 years with Ph.D, from IIT, Madras, Fellow Member, Institution of Electrical Engineers (INDIA), Institution of Electrical Engineers (INDIA),M.I.E. from Institution of Engineers (India),Chartered Engineer(I),from Institution of Engineers (India), M.I.E.T.E.,from Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (India). His dynamic leadership brings about much needed social reforms through education to empower individuals to become the backbone of an enterprising, productive society. He is an imbibing source of inspiration to all.
